Triduum- The three days that are the high point of our Church year; Holy
Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil/Easter.
Easter- The day we celebrate Jesus’ rising from death to a glorious new
life.
Holy Thursday- The day we remember Jesus’ giving us the gift of His own
Body&Blood.
Good Friday- The day we remember Christ’s giving His life for us on the
cross.
Mount of Olives- A place where Jesus went to pray after the Last Supper.
Cross- A special sign that reminds us of Jesus’ perfect love, his
willingness even to lay down His life for us.
Passover- The Jewish feast Jesus was celebrating with His disciples at
the Last Supper.
Jesus- His name means "the one who saves."
Died- After three hours on the cross, Jesus breathed His last.
Raised - Jesus rose to a new life on Easter, never to die again.
Eucharist - We gather as a community to celebrate the gift Jesus gave us
at the Last Supper.
Last Supper - The meal in which Jesus & the disciples celebrated the
first Eucharist.
