3 & 4-Year Old Programs

Here children gain a seed of faith. A seed is small but it will be the foundation for a child's beliefs. Best of all this is a special place for fun.

Every other Sunday during the 10 am mass, the 4-year-olds gather in Fellowship hall, while their parents and other siblings attend mass. They sing songs, make projects and learn simple prayers all based on a theme of aspects of the Catholic religion. Led by Diane Labalsamo with teenagers' help, children enjoy learning about Jesus.

The Good Shepherd Early Childhood Spiritual Formation offers a program for 3-year-old children twice a month during the 10:00 am mass. Children come in and play while their families attend mass. We play with toys, have circle time with books, sing songs, learn prayers, and make a craft. Each week we focus on a different theme in our faith. The program is run by Mary Ellen Zerella. She is a N.Y.S. certified Pre-K-6th/ Special Education teacher who has been teaching in a private preschool for over three years and a catechist for over ten years.
