The larger site explains the work of Catholic Relief Services which is the overseas outreach of Catholics in America through the USCCB. It also provides a mail order service which ensures that workers in developing countries receive just compensation for their labor. There is the justice aspect of buying from cooperatives in Guatemala, India and other places.

up in 1971 by two Jesuits after they had attended the Synod that year entitled
“Justice in the World.” The site explains Catholic teachings on various catch
phrases such as “option for the poor” and “God’s care for creation.” There are
25 other phrases with succinct explanations for each and links to articles on
the subjects. I think this site will be very helpful as a starting point in my
