Sister Ellen is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth,
Sister resides at Villa Immaculata, House of Prayer in Riverhead.
Originally from New Jersey, Sister has resided on Long Island for the past 25
years.
Previously, Sister has ministered in St. Peter Claver in Brooklyn, St. Isidore
in Riverhead and St. Peter the Apostle in Islip Terrace.
At Good Shepherd Parish, Sister Ellen is the Spiritual Formation minister for
levels 1, 2 and 3. Sister is also an annulment advocate for the Tribunal of
Rockville Centre.
The charism (gift) of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth is ministry to
the family. The Sisters work toward the creation of one family in God wherever
they live and minister. Recognizing that holy, healthy families are central to
the transformation of the world, the Sisters commit themselves and their
resources to enhancing the quality of family life through all their ministries.
