Good Shepherd's Junior Choir is open to all boys and girls who have already
received the Sacrament of First Eucharist. We accept members in grades 3 thru 8
who enjoy singing and wish to praise God in song. Currently we have about 30
members in our Junior Choir, but we accept new members throughout the year.
We
enjoy our time together at practice and look forward to it each week.
As with any activity that children are involved in, the parents play a major
role. Parents are responsible for getting their son or daughter to and from all
practices and Masses on time. Our practices are held on Thursday evenings from
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Main Church. We sing approximately once a month,
beginning in October and ending in June, and always at the Saturday 5:00 p.m.
Mass.
The congregation at Good Shepherd is very responsive to the Junior Choir. They
thoroughly enjoy listening and join in our songs with great enthusiasm. We, as a
whole at Good Shepherd are very proud of our Junior Choir.
