Catechetical Service Awards Pastoral Facilitators of small church communities
"To preach always
and sometimes use words" is a quote attributed to St. Francis of Assisi.
However, it is the Dominican vocation. "To contemplate and to give
to others the fruit of your contemplation" and "to praise, to bless, to
preach," have been ideals set before us at the beginning of our religious
life as sisters of St..Dominic in Amityville.
During these past fifty years I have been richly blessed by God and by
each one of you who have walked life's journey with me. Together we have
supported each other during the many dyings and risings of living life and
we praise God for the abundant grace that draws us ever more deeply into
God's infinite mystery.
How can we be silent?
How can we keep from singing?  |
